Nat Hughes grew up fishing all over the western United States.
As a young man, he learned
fishing techniques when he worked for Frank Amato Publications (publishers of Salmon Trout Steelheader magazine) and from the books they published.
His passion for fishing led him to this career. He was formerly a soldier and law enforcement officer.
Nat served 6 years in the Army and completed a tour in Iraq, OIF III (2004-2005) where he was wounded by an IED.
Nowadays, Nat spends his time on the water fishing. His passion for fishing is never ending and he will work hard to put you on the fish. He is a board member for Take a Vet Fishing at Odell Lake, a nonprofit organization that pairs Veterans with fishing opportunities each year. Nat is active with the Oregon Southcoast Fisherman Club which helps with fishery improvement projects on the Southern Oregon Coast and other community activities.
Nat has a love for fishing and welcomes families on board. He loves to see children catching fish.
Nat holds a 6 pack fishing guides license issued and maintained by the United States Coast Guard. He is First-Aid / CPR Certified, fully-insured, and bonded.
